We are an international team of filmmakers based in Germany, currently working on a simple yet compelling film about fear of being alone which drives us to settle for less in our lives.
We are looking for two actors (gender doesn’t matter) in their 20s for main character roles in the movie.
We are planning to shoot on the 31st of May and 1st of June
This is an unpaid opportunity, but we will provide food, drinks, and new connections!

“Roller” and “Smoker” are having a late night smoke session in their little cramped apartment. They play cards, watch videos on their laptop and smoke. “Smoker” tries a joint that “Roller” rolled for them and doesn’t really like it. They start arguing over whether or not the joint is too strong, whether it is rolled like always, whether it makes a difference, whether the music could be happier, whether one of them does more chores than the other and so on. The argument becomes more and more personal and the characters are getting closer to the problem which they both have been avoiding, however the confrontation of it becomes too much and “Roller” walks away into the balcony. In a moment alone they realise that they are terrified of losing this relationship and so they choose to stay in the same vicious cycle of settling for less and suffering because of it.
