Call for Appli­ca­tions: 5th Film Net­work Pitch @ achtung berlin – new berlin film award

It’s about that time again: From now on and until March 20th, as a Film Net­work mem­ber you can apply to par­tic­i­pate in the 5th Film Net­work Pitch, which will take place in coop­er­a­tion with the achtung berlin – new berlin film award on Fri­day, April 22nd, 2022.

We are excit­ed to receive your appli­ca­tions and look for­ward to see­ing you there!

We wel­come projects from the fields of fea­ture, short, ani­ma­tion, doc­u­men­tary and series for all plat­forms that are cur­rent­ly in the stage of devel­op­ment to pro­duc­tion.

The Film Net­work Pitch is a show­case for film tal­ents from Berlin. Dur­ing the indus­try days of the achtung berlin film fes­ti­val, a selec­tion of Berlin screen­writ­ers, direc­tors and pro­duc­ers present their film projects to an pro­fes­sion­al audi­ence and receive pro­fes­sion­al feed­back after­wards.

For the par­tic­i­pants, the pitch offers a plat­form to find part­ners for their project, to get feed­back from experts in the fields of pro­duc­tion, TV and dis­tri­b­u­tion, and to dis­cuss financ­ing and dis­tri­b­u­tion strate­gies. In prepa­ra­tion, the par­tic­i­pants take part in a pitch train­ing.

The pitch will pre­sum­ably take place in pres­ence and in com­pli­ance with the cur­rent COVID-19 reg­u­la­tions.

To apply, please send us the com­plet­ed appli­ca­tion form, a CV includ­ing your fil­mog­ra­phy (max. 2 pages) and a project out­line (max. 2 pages) in a bun­dled PDF to info@​filmnetzwerk-​berlin.​de by March 20th, 2022.

The appli­ca­tion is only open to Film Net­work mem­bers. Par­tic­i­pa­tion in the pitch and the pitch train­ing is free of charge. Both events will be held bilin­gual­ly in Ger­man and Eng­lish. There­fore, appli­ca­tions can be sub­mit­ted in Ger­man or Eng­lish lan­guage. For the pitch train­ing, basic knowl­edge of Ger­man and Eng­lish is required. Stu­dent projects are exclud­ed from par­tic­i­pat­ing.
