Dog Rose

Sofija (26) has been diagnosed with breast cancer and wants to reconnect with her younger sister, Sara (22), before beginning chemotherapy. She asks Sara to return with her to the family farm in Gruža, Serbia. Together, they pick rose hips for grandma’s jam - just like when they were children. But this is a pretext for Sofija to confide her fear of death and the hopes she has kept hidden. However, Sara simply cannot (or will not?) stay longer than just one weekend. Before Sara leaves, Sofija picks enough rose hips to make a jar of grandma’s jam.
