The Last Sheaf

On a inpoverished farm at the beginning of the 20th century: The rye needs to be harvested fast but the father of the house is lying on his death bed. What would the villagers say if they harvest while the old man dies. The young farmer and his wife make a decision which puts the morality of the community into question.
