The 40-year-old Russian immigrant Clarisse lives alone in Berlin. She tries to escape her loneliness by fantasizing about Kiril, who lives with his beautiful younger girlfriend Lena in the flat above hers. For that reason she can’t help but take part of their lives. One day Lena stands in front of her door – with a farewell letter for Kiril. When Clarissa gives Kiril the letter, his world seems to falls apart. Clarissa comforts Kiril, being near to him is like a dream come true for her. But Kiril asks for Clarissa to arrange a meeting with his ex-girlfriend. Clarissa makes a momentous decision.
