The Icebomb

Tom is a teacher’s child, a phobic and neurotic, his health being a constant cause of worries and experiments of his overanxious family. The Schuhmann-Weils are radical advocators of environment protection, organic food and the worth of work-out. Surrounded by this family in eco-fever, Tom seems to be the only reasonable person in this household. When a mysterious ice block hits the family home, the Schuhmann-Weils take refuge in their own bunker only Tom using his chance to escape. He wants to stand up to the very real problems in life, especially Lucie whom he fell in love with head of heels. Promptly his mother takes action: she turns in to some kind of martyr and starts sending him messages from the bunker. In the face of neuroses, nervousness, and little ailments a grim fight for freedom, love and self-determination breaks out.
