Sami

Sami, a twelve year old palestinien boy comes to Berlin in search for his brother. He has an encounter with the rather strange 78 years old Shlomo. Because of a misfortune Sami’s appearance changes from an arabic looking boy to a jewish looking boy. Not having found his brother and suffering under cold weather he breaks down. From then on the old man is looking after him and pretends Sami is his grandson when meeting his friends. It quickly becomes apparent that they need each other to survive.
