Es ist der 23. Juni 2016. In Großbritannien läuft ein heikles Referendum und auf der anderen Seite des Atlantiks gewinnt eine ominöse amerikanische Präsidentschaftskampagne an Stärke. In Schweden nimmt die Nachrichtenerstattung ihren gewohnten Lauf. In Deutschland hingegen wird gleichzeitig eine identische, jedoch verzerrte Berichterstattung durch die Bürger selbst konstruiert. In der Hitze des Berliner Sommers beginnt sich die Zeit der Unruhe zu entfalten.
