Hey the­re,

I’m offe­ring my skills as music pro­du­cer and film com­po­ser. I alre­a­dy scored some short films and one fea­ture film.

About me: I stu­di­ed music pro­duc­tion at the Ber­lin School of Popu­lar Arts (SOPA) and suc­cessful­ly finis­hed my Bache­lor degree in music pro­duc­tion a cou­ple of years ago. My main instru­ment is the pia­no, but I also play gui­tar, drums and sing. I‘m a mem­ber of two bands and play­ed at a few fes­ti­vals alre­a­dy.

In addi­ti­on to play­ing instru­ments, I work as a free­lan­cer and com­po­se, arran­ge and pro­du­ce a lot of music in all gen­res and I also used to work as a DJ in clubs. I have a broad know­ledge of music theo­ry and I also wri­te leadsheets for „The Voice of Ger­ma­ny” – a ger­man TV-Show. I use the fol­lo­wing soft­ware: Logic Pro, Able­ton Live, Sibe­l­i­us, Trak­tor Scratch Pro. I also teach pia­no, gui­tar and music pro­duc­tion for more than 10 years now.

Cut­te­rin gesucht

Wir von sPE­RAN­TO suchen eine Cut­te­rin für unse­ren Kurz­film. Wir haben den Dreh eines Kurz­films im Rah­men eines Jugend­be­teil­gungs­pro­jek­tes rea­li­siert. Der Film ist von und für Jugend­li­che und setzt sich u.a. mit The­men wie sozia­len Unge­rech­tig­kei­ten aus­ein­an­der.

Es ist bereits ein Roh­schnitt ent­stan­den. Nun suchen suchen wir nach einer Cut­te­rin (FLINTA*),die das Pro­jekt über­nimmt und den Schnitt fer­tig stellt. (Teil­wei­se auch in Abspra­che mit den Jugend­li­chen.) Der Film soll 2025 bei Film­fes­ti­vals ein­ge­reicht wer­den und sei­ne Team-Pre­mie­re in einem Ber­li­ner Kino, im bes­ten Fall, Ende September/​Anfang Okto­ber haben.

Das soll­test du mit­brin­gen:
* einen sen­si­blen Umgang mit The­men wie sozia­le Unge­rech­tig­keit, Dis­kri­mi­nie­rung, etc.
* Inter­es­se am Aus­tausch mit Jugend­li­chen (Jugend­li­che wer­den teil­wei­se im Pro­zess mit ein­be­zo­gen)
* einen eige­nen Schnitt­platz mit dem Schnitt­pro­gramm Avid (ein ers­ter Roh­schnitt wur­de bereits damit geschnit­ten)

Loo­king for a COLORIST – short film aiming for Ber­li­na­le

Loo­king for an expe­ri­en­ced colo­rist for a short film that we will be app­ly­ing to Ber­li­na­le Shorts 2025.

It is a no-bud­get pro­duc­tion, but I’d be wil­ling to pay a sym­bo­lic com­pen­sa­ti­on of 20 euros for this job. I know it’s not much, but it’s what I can offer for now. Big­ger pro­jects will come in the future. The short film will have an esti­ma­ted final length of 15 minu­tes and includes appro­xi­m­ate­ly 12 dif­fe­rent set­tings, some indoors and some out­doors.

If you can’t do all the work for that money but still could part of the work and gui­de us in the right direc­tion, I would do the rest mys­elf as I have color gra­ded all my short films (21 up to date).

At the moment, an expe­ri­en­ced edi­tor has star­ted cut­ting. We also have a top sound desi­gner in place who will be start­ing soon.

I’m Zon Chan, a Sin­ga­po­re­an director/​filmmaker curr­ent­ly based in Ber­lin. I’m in the midst of craf­ting a poignant short film that del­ves into the sen­si­ti­ve topic of mis­car­ria­ge.

I’m on the loo­kout for a Ber­lin-based pro­du­cer with a strong back­ground in nar­ra­ti­ve film­ma­king. I need someone resourceful who can over­see the pro­ject from incep­ti­on through its fes­ti­val jour­ney. It’s a small bud­get pro­ject. Hence, it’s important that you have a deep app­re­cia­ti­on for cine­ma and a pas­si­on for sto­rytel­ling.

Curr­ent­ly, I have an Exe­cu­ti­ve Pro­du­cer secu­ring finan­cing, and my team includes a dedi­ca­ted director’s assistant and cas­ting direc­tor.
